			Other Topics R3I Consulting recognises that the skills, knowledge and experienced gained from nearly 30 years of association with the Defence sector has some utility in other areas. For example, what military doctrine has described as 'Information Operations' or more recently 'Influence Operations' aims to achieve an effect through non-violent means.  Aspects of 'IO' can therefore be relevant to the development and execution of a strategic communications effort or an advertising campaign, where messages are the means of pursuing effect.  Similarly, elements of the concepts and procedures used by military planning staff to conduct a complex expeditionary campaign can be of benefit to people constructing any plan, or seeking a solution to a complex problem.
